Lorne Baring
Lorne is Managing Director of B Capital SA and founder of the B Capital group. Educated in the UK at Eton College, Lorne then attended The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, before becoming an officer in the British Army where he served in multiple theatres. He left the service as a Company Commander.
In 1998 Lorne joined Barclays, where he became the head of Europe & Latin America, based in the Geneva office. From 2005 to 2008, Lorne was Barclays’ highest revenue earning private banker, directly managing $2Bn of private banking and investment banking business. He left with his team to found B Capital in June 2008.
Lorne works in both the Geneva and London offices of the B Capital group and lives with his family in Lisbon. He holds the Securities, Futures & Options and Investment Management certificates, and is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and French.
Zuzana Eleuterio
Zuzana joined the Geneva office after a decade at Barclays in Switzerland. Whilst at the bank, she worked with B Capital on a daily basis, supporting our clients since the company’s launch in 2008.
Alongside her wealth of private banking operational experience, Zuzana is known for her tenacity in getting the job done – something to be admired in the increasingly complex environment of the wealth management industry.
Zuzana is a director of B Capital SA and is responsible for family office services, as well as asset allocation and trading on the Investment Management desk. She is fluent in French, Slovak and English.
Mackenzie Blair
Mackenzie joined the London office having started work in the software and life insurance sectors and latterly for a European private bank based in the UK. Prior to this, he attended the University of St Andrews where he earned a bachelor of science (Hons) degree in economics and management, with focus on financial markets and investments, computational economics, portfolio theory and construction. He holds CFA Level 1 and CISI Level 4 (Investment Advice) qualifications.
An Associate with B Capital Services Ltd in London, Mackenzie provides support to the asset management team in Geneva, as well as direct engagement with our family office clients globally.
Jon Henley
Jon has over 20 years of lending-centric experience in Structured Finance, Private Banking and Commercial Credit, almost all of which has centred around transportation and a particular focus on hard asset lending across the aviation and marine sectors.
Prior to joining B Capital, Jon held senior roles with global financial institutions, most recently with Deutsche Bank and Barclays, where he structured and executed transactions for private individuals, family offices, commercial operators, leasing platforms and private equity.
As Partner, Lending Solutions, Jon is responsible for managing the tailored financing needs of our clients across corporate aviation, marine, real estate and illiquid assets.
Olivier Cavadini
Olivier is a practising lawyer with Charles Russell Speechlys in Geneva and was formerly with Python & Peter. He has practised law in Switzerland for 18 years.
As a partner with Charles Russell Speechlys, Olivier advises public and privately owned companies on all aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, takeovers, joint ventures, financing and general commercial advice. He also provides advice to firms in their relationships with authorities, particularly self-regulatory bodies and the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).
Olivier is a director of B Capital SA and provides legal advice to the firm, especially in matters of investment management.
Nadia Sadon
Nadia holds a BA in Literature and has previous experience in both sales and marketing. Before joining the B Capital team, she worked in a European family office.
Responsible for investor relations and business administration, Nadia is based in the B Capital SA office in Geneva.
Natasha Baring
Natasha has a degree in Economics from University College London (UCL) and spent 10 years at Morgan Stanley in London. Over the decade, she worked in the prime brokerage division advising and facilitating hedge fund clients in the launch of their businesses. She also has significant experience in investor relations within the hedge fund sector.
Natasha is a director of B Capital Services (Malta) Ltd.
Matthew Mizzi
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Malta and qualified in ACCA Advanced skills during his time as an audit executive.
Manager of the office in Swarta, Malta, Matthew works for B Capital Services (Malta) Ltd as a wealth management executive, with responsibility for the supervision of company contracts, bookkeeping, and providing support to the wider B Capital team in day-to-day wealth management operations for our clients.
Francesca Caruana
Francesca is a Certified Public Accountant and has considerable experience in client accounting. Having obtained the ACCA qualification in 2016, she now manages a varied portfolio of clients, especially those in the online gaming space.
Throughout her career, Francesca has led teams of significant size, and continues to be responsible for training employees on accounting technical matters, as well as tackling recruitment needs.
An executive director of B Capital Services (Malta) Ltd, Francesca supports the head office management of the B Capital group based in Malta.
Alexi Arlidge
Alexi has a 20-year career in corporate marketing and communications, 15 of these spent with a City FTSE 250 as Head of Marketing for the group’s global broking division. Responsible for the brand and the company’s flagship events, she also played a pivotal role in the company’s internal and external relationships.
A consultant for B Capital, Alexi works in our London office on strategy and media relations.
Lydia Brogan
Lydia’s expertise in social media marketing and content creation, stems from her academic background in marketing and film production from Newcastle University. Working across a range of sectors, including: finance, real estate, hospitality, health and wellness, and the entertainment industry, Lydia’s skills enable her to navigate the intricate landscapes of online presence and brand communication.
Lydia works with B Capital specialising in creative design and content.
