Regulatory Information

B Capital SA is an independent portfolio manager based in Geneva. This page sets out how we are authorised and who our services are for.

Swiss authorisation

B Capital SA is authorised as a portfolio manager by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) and is supervised by AOOS, a FINMA-authorised supervisory organisation.

UK market access

B Capital SA is registered with the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under the Berne Financial Services Agreement (BFSA). This allows us to provide investment services to eligible UK clients from Switzerland.

How our services are delivered

All investment services are delivered from our Geneva office under FINMA supervision. Our London office, operated by B Capital Services Ltd, provides administrative support only.

Who our services are for

Under Swiss law, B Capital SA provides services to private (retail), professional and institutional clients.

For UK clients, services provided under the Berne Financial Services Agreement are available only to professional clients and high net worth clients as defined under the BFSA. They are not available to UK retail clients.

Client protections

B Capital SA is authorised and supervised in Switzerland. It is registered with, but not authorised or regulated by, the UK Financial Conduct Authority for services provided under the BFSA.

UK clients may not benefit from the protections that apply to UK-authorised firms. In particular, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) and the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) are not available for these services.

Complaints: Complaints should first be sent to B Capital.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer the matter free of charge to our independent Swiss ombudsman:

Using the ombudsman does not affect your right to take legal action.

Information about clients may be shared with FINMA, the FCA or other competent authorities where required under the BFSA or applicable law.
